Words from President
"The year 2008,2009 was stupendous for the club. The great expectation and enthusiasm were generated amongst the members and well wishers of the club. We are really thankful to Roopchand Kundu for his unique creation which blossomed our hope despite serious odds. Enriched with the experience of dismal 2007, all efforts were given to bring back the old glory that Babubagan Club had already earned. Again we bounce back on 2008.
A good number of members are dedicated to the service of uplifting the fame of the club. Ladies committee with their own effort has already established themselves as a striving force and relentlessly pushing the club forward. Junior members are also taking lot of initiatives to organize day/night football tournaments in our ground for consecutive two years which has already earned a very good repute. We participated in football tournament organized by Superintendent of police, south 24 parganas and become champion and runners-up in consecutive years in Jadavpur Segment.
Our ambition is very high in the Golden Jubilee year which will be celebrated throughout 2011. We have long term plans for more social and cultural activity, efforts are on to collaborate with suitable sponsors for our Golden Jubilee activities.
Finally I humbly request all members, well wishers to encourage our effort and endeavor, put more suggestions for the betterment of the club"
